Norv Turner was fired during the 2000 season. He was one of the first coaches to be fired, with a winning record, in the middle of a season.

Terry Robiske was the interim coach after Turner was fired. He got three games at the end of the 2000 season, so he's like the Kirk Cousins of Redskins coaches.

As coach of the Cleveland Browns and Kansas Chiefs, Marty Schottenheimer went to the playoffs in 11 out of 15 years. He lasted one season under Snyder.
