New Jersey rockers The Gaslight Anthem are back with something a little different.
Their fifth studio album, Get Hurt, is in stores now, and the band says it has a "completely different vibe" compared to their previous work.
Frontman Brian Fallon tells "NME" he was even surprised by the new sound, adding that people probably weren't expecting a punk band to play "something that heavy, or something that pretty." He says there are also a few "really calm" moments that people probably didn't think they'd be able to do because he says he didn't even know they'd be able to do.
The Gaslight Anthem will bring their newfound sound on the road starting September 10th with the first of two back-to-back shows at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC.
