Florence Welch is hard at work on a new Florence and the Machine album.
The singer tells NME that lately it feels like she's been "hiding in the studio 24 hours a day" recording the follow-up to 2011's Ceremonials.
Welch took a break Wednesday night to sing a pair of songs at a fundraiser hosted by Mark Ronson in London. She said performing at the Other Ball was great because it reminded her that singing live is what she does. Welch said the new material wasn't ready for a preview that night, and she hasn't offered any tentative release schedule just yet.
